A little hint: Greece has a lot of small unspoiled islands. I tell you, some of these places are like paradise. If you go to these islands, don’t expect a lot of diskos and bars. These places are meant for relaxation. White beaches, nice water and not very many turists are the keywords.

Happy to find my country in the list (France). It is true we have really nice places and a culturally-rich environment. It’s also a very diversified country, in terms of climate, landscapes, regional culture… Paris and the Riviera are just the tip of the iceberg!

I have traveled throughout the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico and found it to be a great adventure. Not too sure I would do it today, though.

My in-laws spent a few weeks in China and they loved it. They were with a large guided group, so they were exposed to all the tourist things, as well as some off the beaten path cultural events. From the photos, it must have beena great trip.

I am from England personally and fully recommend the Lake District as I am not so far away from it, it is one of our more famous regions full of rolling hills, moors, hundreds of miles of paths and of course lakes.

Wendy, You’ve given a very nice list of places to visit. For me, the best city to visit would have to be Barcelona, Spain. I just love the architecture of Antoni Gaudi, the food, the museums, and of course walking down Las Ramblas.
