If you have kids, the Miami Children’s Museum is great destination. It allows children to explore everything from a supermarket to a television studio, with plenty of learning along the way.
8. Parrot Jungle Island
If you like birds, Parrot Jungle Island is a great destination. Parrot Jungle offers visitors a chance to see tropical birds in a simulated natural environment. The destination also often has guided tours and educational opportunities.
10. Coral Castle
Coral Castle shows off Miami’s uniqueness! This castle was built by a Miami resident named Ed Leedskalnin as a tribute to his lover. After 28 years, his 1100-ton coral creation was presented to the world. It’s a bit of a drivefrom downtown, but worth checking out.
11. Vizcaya
Want to see where the rich lived at the turn of the century? No visit to Miami is complete without checking out the Vizcaya estate. This European-style mansion is a popular destination for parties, galas, and weddings.
