Cyprus And The Egypt Connection
Anyway, the Egyptians decided to pop back over to Cyprus again for another visit in the 16th century BC. It was all the idea of the top dude of the time who was some guy called Amasis. They however legged it rather promptly when the Persians arrived to embrace Cyprus into their ever expanding empire. This was not all bad news for the Greeks though because at least it introduced them to the decadent luxuries of those fabulous Persian rugs. Unfortunately for the Persians however there was trouble brewing on the far horizon in the form of a dude called Alex. Alexander The Great as he preffered to be known had been pretty busy conquering most of the known world and had a particular bone to pick with the Persians.

With beautiful sunsets, picture-perfect beaches, and
a harbor that houses some of the biggest yachts, Newport
Beach California is truly an amazing place. Perfectly
situated in Orange County, Newport Beach can be considered
both relaxing and ritzy.
The harbor features many small islands and also houses
several museums and attractions like the Newport Pier. As
far as things to do here, surfing, volleyball, and romantic
walks along the pier can help to fill the void. Surfing is
quite renowned here, as surfers can get truly bone shattering
waves from the boats that go by.
Nightlife at the Beach is no secret either, as there are
many different restaurants and clubs. During the day, there
are many different amusement parks and arcade games. For
the kids, Newport Beach is truly an amazing vacation.
Those of you who want to visit the past, shouldn’t hesitate
to visit the Balboa Pavilion, which was built in 1904. The
Pavilion houses many dances, and still proves to be an
inspiring Victorian structure - even to this very day.
For a tourist attraction or just a place to get away from the
pressure of life, Newport Beach is breathtaking. The harbor
has something for everyone, even the hard to please.
Cruise Your Way into Fun and Romance
Once upon a time, people thought of cruise ships as being for retirees and rich people. If you think like that today, though, you are way behind the times. There are cruise liners for everybody these days. Some of the most popular of them are for singles in general and singles under 30. You can cruise you way into a new relationship without going broke in the process if you know where to look.
The best places to find out about singles cruises, adventure cruises and cruises to tropical party islands are good websites that have a wide selection of cruise lines to choose from. When you go to these sites, you’ll be able to choose the perfect cruise for your age group and lifestyle.
Stay away from the sites that are for the specific cruise line companies. On those, you’ll only get the limited number of cruises that they have on their fleet of ships. Your options will be limited and you may come away thinking there’s not a cruise that suits your desires. That will be a big mistake, because no matter what your age, lifestyle or budget, there is a cruise that will be perfect for you.

The most well known beach is Phinikoudes in Larnaca where the sand extends five hundred metres and is watched over by a lifeguard, offering total safety for children. It has well placed cafes and restaurants, markets, changing rooms and showers and facilities for a range of water sports and palm trees for shade.
Paphos is more cosmopolitan. It has its own fishing harbour and is a resort full of history, culture and fun with a variety of places to shop and eat, as well as up-market bars and lively discos.
